How to add 20% to the value of your home!

I probably should have added 'without building an extension' or 'without converting the garage', as I'm sure there are quite a few ways of adding 20% to the value of your property, but most of these require a substantial outlay. But there is a way you can add 20% without such an investment. Or evolving your house. And that's by keeping your garden nice.

Now I must apologise for using that word 'nice' but I'm using it for a reason. This is not about spending £20k on a Chelsea-themed garden makeover or installing a swimming pond or an outdoor kitchen. We are simply talking here about keeping your garden tidy and well cared-for. We're not talking about employing a designer to create on-trend colour-themed borders. This is about keeping the hedges and edges trimmed, lawns mown and borders weeded and stocked with some colourful plants.

If you'd like to improve the value of your garden and would welcome some guidance on how to go about this, do get in touch! We'd love to help!
